Speeding through Odiham & North Warnborough is considered to be one of the main issues of concern for residents. OPC has no jurisdiction over the highway but can take measures to support the Police and to encourage a reduction in speed. This led to the creation of a new Speedwatch group in 2021 which is run by volunteers and meets regularly to records speed in hot spot areas. Speedwatch is a Police approved scheme which aims to reduce speeds by making drivers pay attention to their speeds. Data is sent to the Police after each session who process the data. The Data below is from last year 2024. Once data starts to come in from this year it will be added to a new page for 2025
We are always in need of new volunteers for speedwatch. Full training is provided and you can help as much or as little as you like.
