Recreation Areas and Playgrounds
The Parish Council has four recreation areas in the villages each containing a children’s play area.
Recreation Ground, Recreation Road, Odiham
The recreation ground contains play areas suitable for a large age group from pre-school upwards. The younger aged equipment (suitable for under 12s) was installed in 2000 and the new junior aged equipment (suitable for 7 to 12 year olds) installed in July 2018. There is also a new MUGA which has markings for a variety of sports including football, netball and basketball. All the new equipment was paid for out of s106 contributions. At the top of the recreation ground there is a building which currently houses Leapfrogs Pre-School.
Chamberlain Gardens
This area, adjacent to the Church, was gifted to the Odiham Sports Centre Trust, of which the Parish Council is trustee, by its owners in 1948. It contains a play area for the under 11 age group which has recently been replaced and was officially opened on 12 October 2006.
Chapel Pond Drive
Odiham Parish Council took over this small play area in May 2013. There are swings, a slide and a trailblazer.
Bufton Field
Odiham Parish Council took over ownership of this play area in May 2013. There is a large and small multi-play unit, swings, a roundabout, game boards and hopscotch markings.

Thousands of bulbs have been planted to provide year round colour and a variety of trees have been planted. Four information boards have also been installed.
The Beacon/’Hockey’ Field – off Buryfields adjoining Mayhill School playing field which hosts the Beacon which was last lit on 11 November 2018.
The Firs – a small wooded area at The Firs.
Colt Hill – a small piece of land at Colt Hill.
