Amenity Areas Committee, Community Committee, Planning and Development CommitteeSteve has worked and lived in Odiham, and now North Warnborough, for most of the past 30 years. Previous community activity has seen him serve as a School Governor at Buryfields Infant School, a football coach for Hook United, and as a terrible commentator at local Box cart races and raft race events. His employment in the Royal Air Force has given him diverse and interesting experiences and skills that he aims to bring to his role as a Parish Councillor. His particular interests lie in improving community living, resilience, security, and equality, as well as providing opportunities for people and organisations to continually improve, grow, and develop.

Community Committee, Finance CommitteeI hope to be able to bring in a wider understanding of liaison both generally between the RAF and civilian agencies (through his previous military experience) and specifically in the Odiham locale, having liaised with local organisations including Farnborough Airport, Lasham
Gliding club and local emergency services to arrange flying events for the benefit of RAF Odiham with minimal disruption to the wider populace.
I hope to re-invigorate RAF Odiham’s links with the council, not only assuring appropriate engagement at longstanding events (such as Remembrance, Christmas service and the summer fete) but also seeking additional ways for the Station to engage with the local community; whether that be via charity work, holding Station-led events in Odiham’s wiser community or other more esoteric ideas. He firmly believes that the Station is only able to deliver outputs to UK Defence so well because of the support it receives from the local population and it behoves RAF Odiham to repay this kindness whenever able.

As a life-long educator and researcher I understand the power of community and collaboration. I welcome the opportunity to serve the Community which makes this such a special place. I am a trustee of the Accessible Boating Association based in Odiham at Colt Hill. You may have met me dressed as an elf at the Odiham Extravaganza! As a Councillor I champion the environment and take a special interest in ensuring that the delights of Odiham and North Warnborough are fully accessible to those less mobile.

Amenities Areas Committee, Community Committee, Staffing CommitteeI have lived in Odiham 32 years and brought two children up here and they attended the local schools. I worked in Local Authorities in environmental and green space management for 30+ years, where my work included facilities management including children's playgrounds. For the last 15 years I have run my own consultancy providing arboriculture and environmental advice, although now recently retired. Odiham is a great place in which to live and bring up a family and I wish to play a part in retaining the village as an attractive and thriving place to live and work.
As chair of the Amenities committee I will take every opportunity to conserve and enhance the environment of the Parish.

Amenity Areas Committee, Planning and Development Committee, Staffing CommitteeWe moved to Odiham 10 years ago to be nearer our children and grandchildren. Before that we had lived in London, Northern California and, for 7 years, in Brussels. In London I had my own relocation business, getting people happily settled when they were posted from overseas. I have volunteered in the Parish in various ways including driving for the Care Group and running the Toy Stall at the fete. Now, I feel we are at an important time in our very special Community and as a Parish Councillor I want to help to shape the future. I care about planning, not just for the residents’ sake but for all the people who visit this area to enjoy its history and charm.
