The Transparency Code 2015
Odiham Parish Council is required to comply with The Transparency Code 2015 which requires the Council to publish certain information.

Expenditure
All payments are published quarterly at the next Finance or Council meeting following the conclusion of each financial quarter. See Odiham Parish Council’s financial reporting page
Procurement
Invitations to tender for contracts which exceed £5,000 are published on Contracts Finder
Minimal exceptions include professional and specialist services where it has not been possible to secure multiple quotations eg for the war memorial refurbishment and consultancy fees to support The Bridewell project. Details of these contract awards can be found in meeting minutes.

Grants to voluntary organisations
Odiham Parish Council offers discretionary grants and event grants.

All grant awards are decided by Council resolution and recorded in the meeting minutes.
During the 2025-26 financial year, the following grants were awarded:
- £1,000 to Citizens Advice.
- £1,000 to InOdiham for the Christmas Extravangza event.
- £2,500 to InOdiham for the Armed Forces Day Bands in The Bury event.
- £1,000 to InOdiham for the Odiham Food Fayre event.
- £580 to The Baker Hall towards new solar panels on Baker Hall.
- £500 to the Hook & Odiham Lions for a PSA prostate cancer screening event.
- £500 to Phoenix for their Project Open Door – a free advice, information and guidance, mentoring children with anxiety project for ages 16-19.
- £500 to Zero Hunger for 6 foldable tables, an event shelter and polo shirts for volunteers.
- £430 to RAF Odiham for Christmas gifts to personnel deployed over Christmas.
The Council has also made the following donations to local groups who have supported the Parish Council’s events:
- £150 each to Cove Brass Band and The Rotary Club of Odiham & Hook for supporting the Christmas tree lights switch on event.
- £100 to the Poppy Appeal.

Waste contracts
- Suez is contracted to dispose of general and recycling waste at The Bridewell.
- Larkstel Ltd is contracted to empty all public bins which are sited on Odiham Parish Council owned land.
- Grounds contractors are responsible for green waste disposal as part of their contract.
- Ad hoc contracts are awarded for bulky waste and flytipping.
The following are not published as they do not apply to Odiham Parish Council:

- Social housing assets.
- Trade Union facility time.
- Car parking spaces and accounts.
- Senior salaries over the stated threshold.
- Counter fraud work.
