Amenity Area Committee, Community Committee, Finance Committee, Planning & Development Committee, Staffing Committee.I moved to North Warnborough in February 2018 and have had family connections to the area for 40 years. As a life-long educator and researcher I understand the power of community and collaboration. I welcome the opportunity to serve the Community which makes this such a special place. I am a trustee of the Accessible Boating Association based in Odiham at Colt Hill. You may have met me dressed as an elf at the Odiham Extravaganza! As a Councillor I champion the environment and take a special interest in ensuring that the delights of Odiham and North Warnborough are fully accessible to those less mobile.

Amenity Area Committee, Planning & Development Committee, Traffic and Transport Committee.I first moved to RAF Odiham in 1984 as a Chinook pilot and am currently the Unit Test Pilot for the Chinook fleet. Our three sons grew up here; two still live in Odiham. Our home has been in North Warnborough for 16 years and I plan to be here forever! This is my second term as a Parish Councillor. I was a member of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group and have tried to ensure that the development this thriving settlement needs does not have an adverse effect on its rich history. As a keen walker and cyclist, I am an advocate for more paths and lead a group of volunteers helping to maintain the local footpaths. I also initiated the Canal Raft Race which returned in September. I seek to ensure that expenditure within the Parish is reasonable and cost-effective. I believe that the demands we make on you, our precept payers, should be modest and justifiable.

Staffing Committee, Traffic and Transport CommitteeWe moved to Odiham 10 years ago to be nearer our children and grandchildren. Before that we had lived in London, Northern California and, for 7 years, in Brussels. In London I had my own relocation business, getting people happily settled when they were posted from overseas. I have volunteered in the Parish in various ways including driving for the Care Group and running the Toy Stall at the fete. Now, I feel we are at an important time in our very special Community and as a Parish Councillor I want to help to shape the future. I care about planning, not just for the residents’ sake but for all the people who visit this area to enjoy its history and charm.

Amenity Area Committee, Communty Committee, Finance Committee, Traffic and Transport Committee.I have lived in North Warnborough for over 25 years and in that time, I have seen many changes, both improvements and threats to the parish. These include inappropriate housing developments and increasing traffic nuisance amongst many. Since retiring I have become more involved in supporting the community. I have done volunteer work in support of long term unemployed and helping people develop their confidence in using computers. More recently, I supported the work of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group; from the start I was impressed with how participative the group was and how much energy and interest residents had in local issues. There are many issues people want to have a voice in, such as new housing developments, affordable housing, schooling, traffic nuisance, leisure facilities and policing. I see my core role as a councillor as listening to those views and voicing them in the most effective way within the council. You have my commitment that I will listen to people, represent their views and ensure council decisions reflect the views and needs of local people.

Amenity Area Committee, Community Committee, Planning and Development Committee.I have lived in Odiham and North Warnborough all my life and many of you will know me through the businesses I own and run in Odiham. I am very passionate about the future of our Parish. For Odiham and North Warnborough to flourish we must support a community that is thriving economically and socially. Local businesses and affordable housing are important parts of that picture, especially if we are to attract the younger generation to settle in the Parish. I support an annual programme of events that gives people of all ages and backgrounds opportunities to have fun together and help build a strong community. At the same time, we need to respect our history and preserve the heritage which makes Odiham and North Warnborough such special places to live and work.

Amenity Area Committee, Community Committee, Planning and Development Committee, Traffic and Transport Committee.I'm a software engineer who has lived in Odiham all my life. Working in London, Odiham is my escape and I love coming home to our historic parish with its friendly Community. I enjoy walking many of the local footpaths, you may have seen me out and about with my family’s German Shepherd. When I'm not out walking, you'll find me at Odiham Tennis Club where I’m a playing member and have sat on the management committee for the past four years. As a Parish Councillor I want to see our Community continue to thrive. As a young person, priced out of the local property market, I’m keen to see more affordable housing in the area. At the same time, I’m passionate about protecting the unique character of the Parish with all its beautiful buildings and conservation areas.
