There are two Conservation Areas in the Parish and the Basingstoke Canal Conservation Area which runs partly through the Parish. The character of each area is defined in Conservations Area Character Appraisals.
New Appraisal
During 2021 OPC worked with a Consultant and Hart District Council to update the two Appraisals – for Odiham and North Warnborough – which were last produced in 2008. The new Appraisal combines two former documents into one. Public consultation on the draft Appraisal has now ended and the comments are under review. We hope to report back on the final Appraisal very soon. You can view the full Appraisal by clicking on the image below.
Please note that the Appraisal refers to interactive maps. This feature will only be visible if the file is opened with Adobe Reader. Alternatively, all maps are attached as appendices.

The 2008 Appraisals will still be valid until the new Appraisal is adopted:

The Appraisals are important Supplementary Planning Documents which are used by Hart District Council to determine planning applications and by Odiham Parish Council when commenting as a Statutory Consultee.
The two main Appraisals were last produced in 2008 and the current Council is currently working with community volunteers to update both Appraisals, with assistance from Hart District Council.
