The Bridewell Community Hub Odiham has benefitted from UK Shared Prosperity Funding.
As part of Hart District Council‘s commitment to investing in community hubs, we were delighted to be one of just two projects benefiting from a share of £1m funding from Hart District Council.
£5,790 was awarded for the refurbishment of an existing toilet to an accessible toilet at The Bridewell.
Councillor Dr Angela McFarlane, Chair of Odiham Parish Council, said: “We are delighted to have had support from Hart District Council which allowed us to complete this much needed refurbishment. This will help towards our goal of transforming the existing building into a thriving community hub for use by all residents.”
Mr Harper, who has campaigned for improvements for some time, said “these improvements will make a real difference when using the shops and businesses on the Hight Street” but “still hopes for further provision in the future which will provide accessible facilities in the evening and at weekends”.
Odiham Parish Council has submitted another application to the next round of funding and hope to receive the decision early February. Fingers crossed for good news!
