As part of our commitment to improving Odiham cemetery, further works are scheduled in the next couple of weeks to level the sunken burial plots in the northern western area of the cemetery.
The area, marked with a yellow cross, includes a maximum of 4 rows. The works include filling selected plots with topsoil, compacting, rake levelling and grass seeding. The sinking is a normal part of the settling of a grave over time. The works will be carried out by hand.
The works aim to improve the appearance of the cemetery, access for grounds maintenance and accessibility for visitors.
Letters will be sent to plot owners where there is a registered owner on file.
