HERITAGE EXHIBITION IN THE PARISH ROOM: EDUCATION, EDUCATION, EDUCATION – INFANTS
Last year Odiham Parish Council granted a Licence to the Odiham Society for use of the Parish Room in The Bury. The Parish Room is now home to the Parish archives and small heritage centre.
The Odiham Society is currently running an exhibition entitled “education, education, education – infants”. This exhibition takes you back to infant education in past years in Odiham – at Buryfields, at the London Road Boys’ School and even at a school in a private house on Dunleys Hill.
The exhibition is normally open Monday afternoons and Saturday mornings – when the board is out they are open!
If you would like to see the exhibition and plan to go on a specific Monday or Saturday please check first with [email protected] to make sure there are sufficient volunteers to open.
