Grants awarded to local community groups
Councillors awarded over £2,000 community grants at the Council meeting in July.
£500 to RMD Adventure Learning CIC for a new weekly youth club in Odiham for children in school years 4-7 or 8-12.
£300 to Odiham Raft Race to support the running costs of the 2026 event, particularly for the hire of accessible and non-accessible toilets.
£500 to the Hook and Odiham Lions towards a 2026 prostate cancer screening programme.
£735 to The Bell to fund the print run of the first 100 copies of a local visitors’ guide, targeted at overseas tourists, visitors and history enthusiasts.
Community grants are offered twice a year. The next closing date is 31st December 2026.
