Helen Tyler (also Cllr Tyler) was there to collect the award on behalf of The Bell and says “it’s a team sport! The team is very pleased and surprised”. The certificate is proudly displayed on the bar in the pub.
The Odiham Parish was also recognised for its strong sense of local pride as runner up in the “most inspiring place” category. The award recognised the strong links with RAF Odiham and the 2025 programme of events to commemorate 100 years of flight. Sqn Ldr Mooney joined Parish Council chair Cllr McFarlane and Cllr Tyler in accepting the award on behalf of the Parish. This is definitely another team win and we extend our thanks to InOdiham, The Odiham Society, Odiham and Greywell Cricket Club and local schools for everything you did last year.
It was a fantastic night for the Hart parishes who picked up many of the prizes which cover the whole of Hampshire. To Eversley Parish Council, Elvetham Heath Parish Council, Hook Parish Council, and Fleet Town Council and a special mention to Yateley Town Council who were joint winners of the best large village award.
Thanks to Elvetham Heath Parish Council for hosting a lovely evening.
