The Parish Lengthsman has been out & about in the Parish today!
Lengthsman originally referred to someone who kept a “length” of road neat, tidy and passable in the Middle Ages, with particular emphasis on boundary marking.
Odiham Parish Council is part of the Hampshire County Council funded “Parish Lengthsman” scheme which gives Odiham Parish Council up to £1,000 to spend on local work to support other authorities holding overall responsibility.
This work supports the valuable work undertaken by the Conservation Volunteers group, led by Cllr Bell. https://odihamparishcouncil.gov.uk/countryside-conservation
