The draft minutes of the Planning & Development Committee held in All Saints Church on Tuesday 12th July can now be read at Minutes. The minutes remain draft until approved at the next meeting and include the full text of each decision.
Following the meeting, there have been several questions regarding the planning process and asking how residents can engage and comment on applications, specifically relating to re-development proposals at Lodge Farm.
Odiham Parish Council is a statutory consultee on all applications in the Parish and Hart District Council is the planning authority and ultimately the decision maker. We hope the following may be of assistance:
“The EIA scoping option is not a planning application for the council to determine. It is a mechanism for the council to determine the extent of issues and information that would have to be considered as part of any future major planning application.
The Pre-application 22/01355 will be considered and the response will be based on planning policy, constraints and issues for consideration to be addressed within any formal planning application should the applicant choose to submit one in the future. Responses to Pre-apps are not usually added to the website but residents can email [email protected] if they wish to submit a comment.
It is very important for residents to wait until there is a full planning application submitted and then all those who have commented on the EIA MUST resubmit their comments so that they are considered with the application.”
