Odiham Parish Council first agreed to appoint at Town Crier as part of the late Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Natalie Jarrett was awarded the title after a “cry off” as part of the Odiham & North Warnborough Annual Parish Assembly.
Natalie said she “wanted to be part of a momentous occasion celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee” and was “a confident, outgoing person with a large voice!”
Natalie supported Odiham’s Jubilee celebrations which followed the national programme of events when dedicated proclamations were written especially for the celebrations.
Natalie’s appointment was made permanent later in 2022.
If you would like to book the Town Crier for an event or proclamation, please contact the Parish Council Office.
