Odiham Parish Council is delighted to reveal the fantastic restoration work on our beloved village War Memorial. Completed over several weeks by the brilliant Marc and Jaime from MSF Historical Restoration Ltd, the memorial has been thoroughly cleaned, walls rebuilt and repointed, and lettering re-applied.
Not a straightforward journey, emergent work required a dramatic change of plan to ensure repairs to a wall were undertaken, as well as some work on the flagstones. The before and after pictures are amazing and all in time for Remembrance Sunday.
This was phase one – we hope to continue work over the next couple of years to ensure this memorial endures for many more years to come.
